During the past few years, and since the initial release in 1993 of Footprints: The True Story Behind the Poem That Inspired Millions, literally thousands of cards and letters have been forwarded to me from the HarperCollins offices worldwide, letters that express a wide range of thoughts and emotions. Those who wrote had been touched by the poem, “Footprints,” by the book, or by one of the many personal speaking engagements I have made around the world with my missionary evangelist husband, Paul.

I received so many wonderful letters, in fact, that some of them were compiled in my book, Friends of Footprints. In this special 10th anniversary edition of Footprints: The True Story of the
Poem That Inspired Millions I have included
a sampling of letters at the end of the
book for your reading pleasure
and inspiration.
